Minnesota Permit to Carry Class
The American Association of Certified Firearms Instructors are one of the few groups authorized under the Minnesota Personal Protection Act of 2003 & 2005, to certify and license self-defense trainers and to provide training to permit applicants. The AACFI Minnesota Permit to Carry Course was developed by those who wrote the Minnesota Personal Protection Act (MPPA). The lawyers and lobbyist who understand the MPPA best and who know Minnesota's self defense law. This course is approximately six hours plus range qualification time and covers the topics below in a manner consistent with the four broad topic areas of personal/moral issues, legal issues, practical considerations and communal concerns.
The AACFI Minnesota Certificate meets the training standards for Florida.
Utah certified AACFI instructors also offer a Minnesota/Utah permit to carry class. With this class you may apply for a Utah Permit to Carry. Many AACFI Courses have a "Utah Option"

Missouri Permit to Carry Course
AACFI is the only instructor certifying organization accepted by the Missouri Department of Public Safety. AACFI's course meets and exceeds the requirements set forth in the Missouri carry law and recommended by the Missouri Department of Public Safety. AACFI is currently accepting instructor candidates for Missouri.

Kansas Permit to Carry Course
The American Association of Certified Firearms Instructors are one of the few groups authorized are by the Kansas Attorney General's Office to certify and license self-defense trainers and to provide training to permit to carry applicants. The Kansas Attorney General has specifically accepted AACFI's Instructor and Permit to Carry Training as meeting the standard’s set forth by the AG's office.
Wisconsin Permit to Carry Course

The American Association of Certified Firearms Instructors, one of the few groups authorized, under the Minnesota Personal Protection Act of 2003 & 2005, to certify and license self-defense trainers and to provide training to permit applicants. While sheriffs can accept training certificates from any trainer they choose to, they are required by law to accept certificates from AACFI Instructors for what's formally known as a "Minnesota Permit to Carry a Pistol," and more generally just called a carry permit.
